DIAGNOSTIC TESTS
- Breast Ultrasound
This imaging test uses sound waves to create pictures of the breast tissue, commonly used to evaluate lumps or other abnormalities found during a mammogram or physical exam. - Carotid Doppler Ultrasound
This test evaluates blood flow through the carotid arteries, which supply oxygen-rich blood to the brain. It helps detect blockages or narrowing that may increase the risk of stroke. - CT Colonography
Also known as a virtual colonoscopy, this test uses CT imaging to create detailed views of the colon and rectum to screen for polyps, cancer, or other abnormalities. - CT Coronary Angiogram
This imaging test uses a CT scanner and contrast dye to visualise the coronary arteries, identifying blockages or narrowing that could lead to heart disease or heart attacks. - Echocardiogram 3D
A 3D echocardiogram uses ultrasound technology to create three-dimensional images of the heart, providing detailed views of its structure, function, and blood flow to diagnose heart conditions. - Full Abdominal Ultrasound
An imaging test that examines the organs in the abdomen, such as the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, and kidneys, to diagnose conditions like stones, tumours, or inflammation.
- Liver Fibroscan
A non-invasive test that uses ultrasound waves to assess liver stiffness and detect fibrosis or scarring, often caused by chronic liver diseases such as hepatitis or fatty liver disease. - Mammogram
A specialized X-ray of the breast used to detect abnormalities, such as lumps or calcifications, often used for early detection of breast cancer. - MRI Prostate
A detailed imaging test that uses magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to visualize the prostate gland, helping to detect abnormalities such as cancer, inflammation, or other conditions. - Pelvic/Transvaginal Ultrasound
An ultrasound that examines the pelvic organs, including the uterus and ovaries.
A transvaginal approach involves inserting a probe into the vagina for clearer images, often used to assess fertility, pain, or abnormal bleeding. - Stress Echocardiogram
A combination of ultrasound imaging and physical or pharmacological stress testing to evaluate how the heart performs under stress, helping to detect coronary artery disease or heart function abnormalities.
