What makes the London General Practice Different
At The London General Practice, we are often asked about what is different about LGP, the answer rather depends on your perspective. So in a two-part blog we look at what is different about The London General Practice for our patients and for our Doctors.
Reasons to be a patient at our harley street clinic
LGP gives our private Harley Street patients more time where and when they want it. We are available to our patients 24/7 every day of the year. We offer same day appointments and patients come to us in Harley Street or we can go to them, anytime.
On Christmas day our On Call Doctor visited twelve patients at home and at their hotels.
All GP consultations are at least 30 minutes and our Doctors’ are supported by a skilled and dedicated team who understand the complexity of different services and our patients’ busy lives. Our Medical Secretary’s work closely with their GP managing scheduling and reporting and ensure any onward tests or appointments are smoothly and efficiently handled. It is a different level of experience.
We have a team of committed Doctors, in clinic and out of hours. They have a wide range of specialties including aviation medicals, women’s health and menopause, occupational health and expert health screening. They are all GPs and family physicians first.
Patients’ that have been with us many years come to realise that our Doctors all work with us regularly and have done so for a long time, they understand how we do things and what our patients expect.
Our practice is located in the heart of one of the most prestigious medical districts in the world, Harley Street in London. This location offers our patients access to some of the world’s leading medical consultants and specialists.
Our Doctors meet and train with them regularly. We are also a part of HCA, the largest private healthcare company in the world and we have access to a huge range of clinical and technical support.
So for our patients, our experienced Doctors can see them when and where they need to be seen with the amount of time they need. We also understand that healthcare doesn’t stop when you leave our practice. That’s why our Doctors work hard to ensure patients receive the best possible follow up care, whether that means arranging further treatment or simply checking in to see how they’re doing. We’re committed to being there for our patients every step of the way, and are always on hand to offer advice, support and guidance whenever it is needed.
