Dr Maher Shakarchi is a highly experienced General Practitioner and On-Call Doctor at The London General Practice, providing expert medical care both in clinic and through our home, hotel, and workplace visiting service across London.

After qualifying in Medicine from St George’s Hospital Medical School, University of London, Dr Shakarchi initially trained in anaesthetics and intensive care before undertaking postgraduate training in General Practice. He became a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and gained additional diplomas in Anaesthesia, Child Health, and Obstetrics & Gynaecology.

With more than 35 years of experience as an NHS GP Principal, Dr Shakarchi has built an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality, patient-centred healthcare. His career has included senior roles within a large Buckinghamshire practice and later at Belgrave Medical Centre in Belgravia, where he also ran a successful private practice and developed a loyal patient following.

Dr Shakarchi has extensive experience managing a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions and is particularly interested in men’s health, child health, dermatology, lifestyle medicine, and preventative healthcare.
