Dr Angela Rai
Dr Angela Rai, GP at The London General Practice discusses Bowel cancer – the fourth most common cancer in the UK. Statistically one in 15 men and one in 18 women are diagnosed with bowel cancer during their lifetime.

Some Bowel cancer symptoms to look out for include unusual weight loss, extreme fatigue, swelling and pain in your stomach and blood in your stool. While causes of bowel cancer can vary there are higher risks if someone in your direct family has had bowel cancer. In addition lifestyle choices such as alcohol consumption, smoking and obesity can also play a role.
