In an age of technological change, by Dr Ettlinger.

I recently had the privilege to attend Arab Health in Dubai, one of the major conference events in the international healthcare calendar, along with medical colleagues from Harley Street, London and the UK.

On display was a whole array of technological improvements, new advances in medical science, and evidence of the changing face of global healthcare.  We’re also starting to see the birth of remote healthcare, the use of telemedicine and even computers being used to diagnose patients.

As a Practice we pride ourselves on being at the forefront; be it technological advances, latest techniques or the training we provide to our staff.

However, there is one crucial factor which I believe we must always return to.  No matter how great or impressive the technological advances, each and every one of our patients here at the London General Practice is an individual.  With their own concerns, needs and requirements for their own personal healthcare.

At the London General Practice, we’re taking on board the technological advances, but we’re never forgetting to treat our patients as individuals.

Also as a practice we recognise that when illness strikes, it doesn’t respect the time of day or where you are, and that is why we offer our services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year – our Doctors visiting you at your home, place of work, hotel as well as at our Practice just off Harley Street.

We are one of the few Private GP Practices in London which has its own dedicated night time and weekend on-call team staffed by our own Doctors which you can call whenever you need them.

So no matter when you need medical advice you can be assured that we will be there to treat you as an individual, face to face, day or night.

If you would like to contact the London General Practice please telephone 020 7935 1000 lines open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
